Intelligent Charging Pile



 

Project Requirements
 

● Charging pile (station) site often have many interest parties, the communication & negotiation is difficult. so the networking equipment is required to install simple, convenient for capacity expansion. It adopots GPRS/3G/4G and other ways for the site does not have wired communication conditions;
● Charging pile (station) is often exposed outdoors, the site environment is complex, so networking equipment is required to be industrial-grade products;
● Important sites need to carry out redundant link design, networking devices need to support wired, wireless backup or dual sim-card backup;
● Scattered charging pile (station) location, a large number of networked devices must support remote centralized monitoring, batch management.


 

Our Solution
 

In order to meet the networking needs of the charging pile(station), the networking solution should assists charging pile manufacturers, charging pile operators and commercial charging service providers to realize charging pile operation management.
The charging pile has RS232 or RS485 interface, and directly connects to RG2000-S through the serial port. Through the data transparent transmission function of DTU, the data of the charging pile is uploaded to the server through GPRS/3G/4G network to realize charging pile data networking. Meanwhile, the camera video surveillance image is connected to the background monitoring platform, and the charging pile operation enterprise can remotely monitor and maintain it in real time.

 

(1) For distributed charging pile

Toputel industrial class wireless data terminal (DTU) is used for networking of distributed charging piles in residential areas or unit parking lots. The control board of charging pile is connected to DTU through serial port, and the wireless DTU is automatically connected through GPRS/3G network of operators, and is connected to the monitoring and operation center of charging operation enterprises, so as to establish a transparent channel between charging facilities and monitoring and operation center.

(2) For centralized changing stations or group charging systems

Centralized charging stations are generally built in public service areas for buses, taxis, sanitation, logistics park and expressways, or some charging operation enterprises introduce swarm intelligent charging systems by adopting technologies such as box transformer. In this case, Toputel offers industrial grade routers/gateways to connect charging facilities to the Internet. Each charging pile in the centralized charging station adopts Ethernet to form a LAN (if it is a group charging system, the whole system has a centralized acquisition and control unit), and then connects to the private network or Internet through the industrial router/gateway as a unified gateway, and finally establishes a connection with the monitoring and operation center of the charging operation enterprise. Realize two-way data transmission between charging facilities and monitoring operation center
