Remote Monitoring for Wind Farm



 

Project Requirements
 

remotely monitor and manage wind farm, set up the monitoring system, realize the networking through the current mature industrial Ethernet network, the main station of the dispatching center directly monitor the operation of all fans in each station.



 

Our Solution
 

In order to guarantee the normal operation of the wind turbines, expect to implement preventive maintenance to significantly reducing the fan fault losses, and realize the efficient and reliable equipment data transmission via Ethernet. Toputel Technology's industrial ethernet switches using G.8032 ring network protocol, which can realize 5 ms inner ring network self-healing, greatly improve the reliability of the ring network.
 

 Wind Turbine Tower: an ISM3010D network management ethernet switch should be installed at the bottom of each tower, which is connected to the on-site HD webcam, intercom and other network devices to form a Local area network (LAN) through ethernet, Optical fiber ports 7th and 8th are used to form a redundant optical fiber ring network. The 9th ports of optical fiber port is used to connect to the non-network management switch ISE2005 in the wind turbine cabin of the tower.

Wind Turbine Cabin: one ISE2005D non-network management switch is installed in each turbine cabin. The optical port is used to connect to the switch at the bottom of the wind turbine tower. The network port is connected to high-definition webcams, intercom and other network equipment in the cabin.


Central Monitoring Room: the central monitoring station is connected to the optical fiber port 9th of the central switch to access the internal industrial Ethernet of the whole wind turbines, so as to timely understand the operation of all wind turbines in each station.
